Rocky was a dear friend of my late husband, Glenn. Glenn loved to visit with Rocky anytime he could. We had the privilege of having Rocky over to our house for lunch one day. He was indeed a delightful person to be with. We love and know some of his family, Roger, Diane, Ethan, and Jenny. We are saddened for them and all his family. He was a beloved person to everyone who knew him and he will be missed. You are in my prayers. Love, Kathryn Olbricht

I am so sorry for your loss. I have no one to tease anymore. He was such a good friend not only to myself but my parents when they were alive. He is at peace now and with his sisters and his dear wife. We are out of town and will not be able to attend but know that he will be remembered in our prayers

I've known and loved Rocky for at least 75 years. We were buddies all our lives from grammar school on, bicycling, sidewalk roller skating, playing baseball & basketball, tennis, and millions OF games of Monopoly. Occasionally I could claim a win, more often than not he won.
We shared years of fun, tall stories, and laughs. We became even closer friends after we became Brothers In Law after my marriage to my beloved Edna, his sister.
During the Korean war he joined the army and spent far too many days in far too many battles in Korea, writing his mother not to worry as he was just a baker behind the front lines. He had one of the most dangerous jobs, that of forward observer, directing fire at the enemy lines. He was always a gentleman with deep concerns and charity for others. God made a real good one in Rocky!
I send my deepest sympathy and love to his exceptional children Debbie and Roger and their wonderful children and to his beloved sister June, and to all who knew and loved this gentle devotedly christian gentleman.
I'm going to miss my buddy and always his departing prayer to me: "ALLAH MAA-ECK", which translates "GOD BE WITH YOU", The prayer he learned from his Lebanese Catholic parents Mary and Joseph Nasiff.
So I say to Rocky "ALLAH MAA-ECK"
I'll see ya later.
Dick
