I just want to say of my brother in law Gary Hahn that while we weren't close by any stretch of the imagination, I had the utmost respect for him as a human being. When Diane and I were dating and it looked like we were going to have our first child (before we were married), Barb and Gary stepped right up and offered us a helping hand and a listening ear.
We were scared to death and we should have been. Of the prospect of being parents and where that would lead us, how our parents would react (that's another story ), where we would live, where I would work, etc., etc. Without Barb and Gary's support, it would have been much harder and I remember.
Thank you both, Barb and Gary and while I am sad to see Gary go and the pain that it has brought to Barb, Mike, Joe and all who loved him, I am relieved that he is with his Mom and Dad and in a far better place than here.
