I am stunned as I talked with Amy about 2 weeks ago and she was so happy with her progress in healing and looking forward to going home to her own bed and on with her life. I am very sad and shocked by her passing. I worked with her for many years and had a good rapport with her. I admired her positive outlook despite her physical problems and wished I was more like her in this regard. I will always remember her fondly.

Having worked with Amy for many years, I was impressed with her determination and her love for her sister's family and her parents. Her ability to find books that were out of place was amazing. Amy's passing at this time is both shocking
and difficult to comprehend. Please accept my profound sympathy.

ABB as I often called her, was such a presence in the library, especially in the Local History and Genealogy Department. I was her supervisor for about five years and she might be one of the most unique people I've ever met. She loved her mother, her father, her sister and her sister's children and spoke of them so often. Amy was ever hopeful, ever looking forward and never seemed to let life get her down the way most of us do. We could all learn from Amy's unwavering spirit. I will miss her silly laugh, that smile she'd get when something tickled her. I loved to tease her and watch her react. Its tough to think that won't happen again in this life. RIP Amy Beth.

I am very shocked, and saddened to read about Amy's death this morning. I spent many hours at the Local History & Genealogy Department, and had many conversations with Amy! (I haven't been there much within the past couple of years, though.)
I remember Amy talking about her Mom, and her moving out on her own. She was both nervous, and proud at the same time!
Very rarely would Amy sit still while at work! She was always busy, even while we chatted! She always knew exactly what I wanted, and could assist me immediately!
I was at the Library last week. I noticed Amy wasn't there, but occasionally I'd show up on one of her times off. I'm going to miss her friendly assistance! I really appreciated everything she has done to assist me, and my Mother, over the years!
My deepest condolences to Amy's family, co-workers, and friends!

I was saddened to hear of Amy's passing. I worked with Amy in Local History at Central Library for about 5 years. What a smart, funny, and positive person she was! She had her own view of the world which was unique and really endearing. I know she was devoted to her family too. I remember always asking Amy when we couldn't find a particular newspaper article or book --- She had an uncanny ability to find anything! We will miss her. She is definitely gone too soon.
