William R. Younis (“Bill”) 75, of Oswego died Wednesday, February 5, 2014, after a brief illness. Born July 7, 1938, Bill grew up in Baldwinsville, later settling in Fulton. A man of many talents, Bill was owner/operator of WRY Construction and operated several restaurants including The Jordan Diner and Steakhouse, where he was most known for his Cream pies and hosting “C Cruizers” car shows every Saturday Night. William is predeceased by his father George, mother Maureen, brother Gerald, sister Beverly and granddaughter Heather Valerio. William is survived by his sister Maurine, brothers Edward, Robert, Gary, David; daughters, Cynthia J. (Thomas) Brooks of Oswego, Terry Lynn (Victor) Cheney of Central Square, Cheryl Valerio of Cato, Janet (Ron) Davis of Memphis, Lynnette (Robert) Zelias of Jordan; sons, Christopher of Syracuse, James of Missouri, Shane of Fair Haven; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, many close friends and loved ones. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville with services to follow at 7:00pm. Burial at 10:30am Wednesday, February 12, 2014, in Riverview Cemetery. Contributions: Cpl. Kyle R. Schneider Foundation, PO Box 1, Phoenix, NY 13135.
