Karolyn T. Dreher, 94, died on 30 January 2014 at Syracuse Home. A native of Terre Haute, Indiana, Mrs. Dreher, was born on 11 January 1920, the oldest daughter of George Washington Trout and Florence Fern Robbins. She was a 1937 graduate of Indiana State Laboratory High School and attended Indiana State Teachers College, both schools located in Terre Haute. In March 1947 she moved with her husband, Joseph, to Baldwinsville, he having been transferred by The General Electric Company to Electronics Park. In addition to other local activities, Mrs. Dreher was active in the Presbyterian Church, and spent several years on the board and as president of the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center. She was predeceased in 2012 by her husband of seventy years, Joseph W. Dreher. She is survived by a son, Stephen J. (Judith) of Baldwinsville; and a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Connell (Steven Rosen) of Muskegon, Michigan, as well as four grandchildren, Joseph B. Dreher (Kaori) of Kyoto, Japan, Elizabeth (Mikael) Tillström of Orrviken, Sweden, Amy Dreher, of Brooklyn, NY, and Rebecca Dreher of Portland, Maine, and two great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be 4 – 7 P.M Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Services will be 10:00am Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the Baldwinsville First Presbyterian Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 64 Oswego St., Baldwinsville, NY or McHarrie Life Foundation, 7740 Meigs Rd., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
