Rosemary McDonald Osterman, 91, of Syracuse died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre. She was born in Pittsburgh PA. Rosemary worked for WSYR, EW Edwards as the Fashion Coordinator and retired from US Air as a Reservation Agent. Rosemary proudly served her country as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. In 2007 she was awarded Female Veteran of the year. She was active in many local causes and was a founding member of the Fairmount Community Library.
Survivors: Children, Wendy Christopher of, Baldwinsville, Kevin (Karyn) Osterman of, Scottsdale, AZ, Bruce (Mary Jo) Osterman, of Marcellus, Brian (Lynn) Osterman, Kerry Dannan of, Syracuse, Sister; Kathleen Ambrose, 14 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Services: Saturday, January 25, 2014 10:00am at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 4-7pm at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc. 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville.
