Carlton “Mike” Cooper, 58, of Weedsport passed away unexpectedly Saturday at his home. He was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area most of his life prior to moving to Weedsport. Carlton was employed with Anheuser Busch and currently employed with Syracuse Home Association in Baldwinsville where he connected with the residents in a very special way. A car enthusiast, he enjoyed NASCAR racing for many years. Survivors: his mother, Barbara M. Cooper; his daughters, Amy L. Lamica of Baldwinsville and Joanna L. (Michael) Carter of Liverpool; two sons, Jeffrey M. (Kelly) Cooper of Baldwinsville and Chris R. (Trista) Cooper of Baldwinsville; his fiancé Lisa Whidden; a sister, Brenda Cooper-Zobro of Baldwinsville; a brother, Scott (Pamela Johnson) Cooper of Weedsport; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Services will be at 10:00am Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
