To the Veeder family:
So sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I am a second-cousin but had lost touch years ago with Bruce.
Again, sorry to hear of his passing.

Dad, thank you for what you taught me in the 40 years I was blessed to have been your son. I never expressed how grateful I was for what you taught me, and for that, I apologize.

I called our eldest daughter-in-law (Mike's wife), and tried to tell her "who" Bruce was - I told her you 2 came to York, PA - and together we went to the shore (even before that you came to visit us in Lafayette, etc.) And that we sometime 'met' partway between our homes - for a 'time away'.
Bruce was a fantastic friend! Yes, I know you are relatives, he however, was more than that (as you are as well)
Please know you all are in our prayers - and we'll se you sometime this next week!
Love to you all,
Willard

Good-bye Bruce, my friend and neighbor. You were someone who didn't say much, but what you said was worth listening to. I knew without asking that if I needed help, you would be there. I remember the HOURS and even days and weeks you helped me put the generator in my motorhome....or should I say I kind of assisted you!
The time spent sitting in our barn swapping hunting stories are now happy memories to hang on to.
You never needed help with anything, so I always felt that I owed you. The only thing we could ever do was loan you the four wheeler so you could hunt, but on the pretense that you were storing it for us for the winter.
I'll miss waving as when you drove by the house, scoping out deer patterns and I'll miss blowing the air horns driving by your place. We'd probably still be working on them if it wasn't for your help!
Rest in peace, my Friend!
