Obituary of Nadine E. Bolton

Nadine Ester Bolton, 84, died July 15, 2013 at a Brunswick, Maine hospital. She was born in the village of Black River, NY. Mrs. Bolton lived and worked in Watertown, NY most of her life. She moved to Maine in 2005 to live with her daughter, Marcia Bolton Lamont. Mrs. Bolton attended Watertown schools but graduated from the Mansville High School in 1946. She returned to the classroom in 1963 to study nursing and received her LPN license in 1964. She worked for the House of Good Samaritan Hospital for many years. She left and began a housecleaning business. Mrs. Bolton married Wayne E. Bolton of Ellisburg in 1947. They were very active for 30 years with the golfing community. They held memberships at Tomacys Golf Course for many years and then the Watertown Golf Club. Mrs. Bolton was the proud owner of 3 hole-in-one certificates. After being widowed in 1992, she became a snow-bird every winter in Myrtle Beach, SC. Preceding her death, her husband Wayne E. Bolton in 1992 and her son James E. Bolton in 2005.
Surviving are her daughters, Marcia Bolton Lamont of New Gloucester, ME, Patricia Bolton Schmitte of Brownville, NY, Diane Bolton Landon of Liverpool, NY, and daughter-in-law Christine Clark Bolton of Syracuse, NY, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Calling hours are 10:00am to 12:00pm Friday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Saturday at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
