Rutherford Leon Edwards, 80, of Lysander, NY passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was born in Hartsville, SC and moved to the Baldwinsville area in 1951. He was employed with Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, NY for 40 years. Rutherford was a member of the Word of Life Assembly of God in Baldwinsville.
Survivors: His wife of 61 years , the former Gladys E. Corp; three sons, Daniel L. of Denver, CO, Donald L. of Ocean Springs, MS and David L. of South Bend, IN; his siblings, Virginia Davis, Miriam Houck and Deani Edwards all of Hartsville and Doris Marquis of Utah; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 7:00pm Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Saturday prior to the service.
Contributions: to the Word of Life Assembly of God, 12 E. Oneida St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
