Obituary of Donald R. Mott

Donald R. Mott, 81, of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at home. He was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and has lived in Baldwinsville for several years. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and graduated from MIT in 1959. He worked as a system engineer for General Electric Co. and other companies in the Syracuse area until 2009. Survivors: his wife of 52 years, the former Annette C. Anderson; one daughter, Jennifer (Keith) Hoover of Baldwinsville; two sons, David (Terasa) Mott of Dunedin, FL and Peter (Nancy) Mott of Baldwinsville; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew Hoover, Alexander and Abigail Mott; one brother, David Mott of Wolcott, CO; one sister, Ester Darrow of Port Ludlow, WA; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours: 4-6pm Friday, January 25, 2013 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services and burial will be private. Contributions may be made to the Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Fund.
