Clark J. Williams, 75, of Lakeland, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Monday,December 31, 2012. He was born in New Hope, NY and lived in the Syracuse area most of his life. Clark was a retired truck driver with P&C Foods. His fondness for horses led him to start the Horse Pull of Champions at the New York State Fairgrounds. He was a member of the NYS Horse Pullers Association and an avid gardener. Clark was predeceased by a son, Timothy Williams and Clark’s siblings; Herman, Horace, Raymond, Arthur, Ruby, Virginia and Norma. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Beverly R. Williams, a daughter, Diana L. Williams; a son, Ted M. (Karen) Williams of Lakeland; two grandchildren, Brianna and Timothy Williams; four sisters, Roberta, Helen, Shirley and Jean; a brother Charles; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 2-4 & 6-8pm Thursday, January 3, 2013 and 12:00-1:00pm Friday, January 4, 2013, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. Services will follow the calling hour on Friday. Spring burial in Belle Isle Cemetery, Lakeland. Contributions: Lakeside Fire District 1002. State Fair Blvd., Syracuse, NY 13209
