Obituary of Arthur A. Faulkingham

Arthur A. “Bud” Faulkingham, 90, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Josephs Hospital. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard from 1941 to 1945 during WWII on the USS William Gordon A.P. 117, receiving ribbons for service on the European, Middle Eastern, African and Pacific Theaters. He was a precision grinder for Rollway Bearing in Syracuse and retired after more than 30 years. Bud was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Baldwinsville and a past member of Memorial Lodge No. 648 F&AM, N. Syracuse. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Ragone in 1972. Survivors: his wife of 55 years, Diane W.; four children, Arthur “Tim” (Mary) Spears of Cicero, Daniel (Karin) of Leadville, CO, JoAnn (Timothy) of Baldwinsville and Ned (Pam) of Baldwinsville; his sister, Helen (Norman) Bullett of Mattydale; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A memorial service will be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers: First Presbyterian Church, 64 Oswego St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
