Mary Catherine Flitcroft Thompson, 79, of Rabbitt Lane, Phoenix, died Tuesday at home. Born in Evans Mills, she lived 43 years in Phoenix. She was a homemaker and a communicant and a religious teacher of St. Stephen's Church, Phoenix. A son, Frederick J., died in 1973. Survivors: Her husband of 62 years, Russell D.; a daughter, Claudette T. Pitts of Fulton; four sons, Richard D. and Mark D., both of Phoenix, Douglas W. of Syracuse and Ronald L. of Frankfort; three sisters, Esther Badgely of Olmstedville, Barbara MacDuffie of Lacona and Marjorie Shepherd of Webster, Fla.; five brothers, Henry Flitcroft of Marcellus, James Flitcroft of Felts Mills, Paul Flitcroft of Albion and Michael and Gerald Flitcroft, both of Adams; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Stephen's Church, Phoenix. Burial, Chase Cemetery, Lysander. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: St. Stephen's Church Building Fund, 469 Main St., Phoenix 13135.
