Obituary of Joshua M. Menkins

Joshua M. Menkins, 20, of Lysander, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and was a 2011 graduate of both C. W. Baker High School, Baldwinsville and the OMC BOCES Career Academy, Liverpool. He was currently employed with Rich Construction in Skaneateles. Josh lived life to the fullest. He loved skateboarding and “just chillin’” with his friends. He will be greatly missed. Survivors: his mother, Christie L. Menkins of Lysander and his father Robert E. Kilgore of Hannibal; his brothers and sisters, Jesse and Savanah Menkins of Lysander and Jordan and Tyler Kilgore of Hannibal; maternal grandparents Carl and Jean Menkins of Lysander and paternal grandfather, Richard Kilgore of Oswego; great grandfather, Francis “Skip” Hayes of Fairmount; his very close uncle Nick Menkins and Krissy Welch; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services: 11:00am Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
