Michael R. DeLallo, 91, of Baldwinsville passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at West Side Manor Assisted Living Community. He was born in Solvay and graduated from Solvay High School in 1939 and Syracuse University in 1948. Michael was a WWII veteran having served in the Pacific. He retired, as a Lt. Col of the USAF. Michael was a GE business administrator for 12 years, working in contract management and administration. He later owned and operated the American School of Drafting and served as Onondaga County Legislator from 1970-72. He later retired from the Onondaga County Veterans Administration in 1987. Michael was an avid golfer and enjoyed his membership at Drumlins, the Tuscarora golf club and FoxFire. He spent his winters in Florida. Michael was predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth in 1997. Survivors: 2 daughters, Linda (Anthony) Geiss of Baldwinsville and Michelle Frio of Syracuse; 2 sons, Thomas DeLallo of Bradaton, FL. and Michael (Faith) DeLallo of Mohnton, PA.; his brother, Paul DeLallo of Camillus; 10 grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren; his companion, Gertrude Chatelle. Services: Calling hours are 10-11am Monday, October 22, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30am Monday, October 22, 2012 at St. Augustine’s Church, 7333 O’Brien Road, Baldwinsville. Burial in Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Contributions In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St. Augustine’s Church, 7333 O’Brien Road, Baldwinsville, 13027.
