Dorothy Cook Sweeney, 84, of Fairway Circle, Baldwinsville, died Saturday. Born in Watertown, she moved to Baldwinsville in 1965. She was a secretary for 50 years, working for the commissioner of social services in Watertown and the McKenzie & Hughes law firm in Syracuse. She also worked at Holiday Inn on Farrell Road for 12 years.
Survivors: Two daughters, Dorothy L. Whitney of Baldwinsville and Susan Starusnak of Phoenix; a son, Hubert Jr. of Syracuse; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services: 8 p.m. Tuesday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Calling hours, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
