Good man, father, coach, and, perhaps, miracle worker? (actually got my dad to umpire a baseball game or two) We're losing them way too soon. Sorry for your loss.

Jill- my thoughts are with you and your family knowing all too well the pain you are feeling... Most of my memories of your dad are from when we were very young at our brothers' baseball games (I remember you and I thinking it was so cool that our brothers had the same name-lol) Surround yourself with your loved ones and don't be afraid to lean as hard as you need. They will help you as much as you will allow.

To Terry's family: I am so sorry about Terry. Words can't describe how generous and caring of a person Terry was. We worked together for many years and shared the same thoughts about doing the right thing and doing it the best you can. I'm sure that comes from being a Marine and knowing that is the best choice to make as we go through life. The phrase, "be the best" was a way he lived and his actions in life showed he meant it. The world will have a huge empty space without him, but his memories surely can fill that void over time and give us all strength to carry on.

To all the Ansons:
I am saddened by Terry's passing.
He was full of spunk and always so supportive of my attempts to hold family reunions.
I will miss him, as I know you all will.
My heart goes out to all of you.
