John E. Ward, 66, of Baldwinsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 11, 2011 and went home to be with Jesus. He was born in Carthage, and was a 1962 graduate of Carthage High School. John has lived in the Baldwinsville area since 1968 and he was President of Ward Steel Co., Inc. for 20 years in Liverpool. John was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Mary Ward and two brothers, James and Thomas Ward.
Survivors: his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth J. (McMullen); sons, John (Monique) Ward of Baldwinsville, Edward J. Ward of Constantia, Terrance (Susan) Ward of Baldwinsville, Derek Ward of Sandy Hook, VA and Christopher (Lori) Ward of Liverpool; nine grandchildren, Matthew (Krystal) Ward of Liverpool, Kathleen, Erin and Meghan all of Baldwinsville, Morgan Kane of New Hartford, Kelsey, Ryan, Collin and Corinne Ward, all of Liverpool; sisters, Margo Hooper and Roberta Belcher; brothers, Ralph, David and Kevin Ward; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 12:15pm Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 1:00pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Baldwinsville. Burial, Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery, Liverpool. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
