Dear Joe & Family,
I'm so glad our lives crossed at Syracuse Home while Alma was in rehab. The days passed faster for Alma when Janet & Margo joined her to put puzzles together in the library. Only wish we had known Joe & Janet sooner. So glad we listened to our hearts and came to the hospital that last week. She was so happy to see us even though the tears came. We feel like we have lost a sister. Our prayers are with you now and the days ahead. Be consoled that Janet is free of pain and resting at the feet of her Heavenly Father.
Love, Alma & Judy

Dear Joe and family,
Zeb and I have followed Janet's battle with illness via Liz and Roy, and want you to know that we've prayed for all of you. I know God has watched over all of you during this difficult fight, but we've been amazed at Janet's ability to rally on. She must have had wonderful doctor's and caretakers including your love and devotion, Joe. Our loving prayers are with you all. God Bless, Beverly and Zeb Palmer
P.S. We hope to see you later on this year.

Dear Joe, Jimmy & Joanne,
We are so deeply saddened to hear of Janet's passing. She was always a ray of sunshine in spite of her health challenges. I can't really remember a visit to New York that didn't include quality time with your family. I'm thankful she is no longer suffering, but now our suffering begins without her in our life. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard this time is for all of you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love & God Bless,
Lisa & Judd

Uncle Joe, Joanne & Jimmy,
Words cannot express our feelings of loss. Aunt Janet was our family glue, no matter what she was going through. She was always uplifting with high spirits and hope that she would improve. We'll miss her infectious laugh, her positive outlook on life, her creativity and incredible cooking and baking skills. We loved the homemade peanut brittle and cookies she made for us at Christmas. We treasure having her part of our lives and will miss her. Prayers for you all.

Dear Joe and Family
Our sincere condolescenes. A true friend for 40 some years, Janet will be missed so much. She always had faith that one day she would be better and able to do more, but God had other plans for her. Take peace in knowing that she is no longer suffering. It was an honor to know and work with her.

So sorry for your loss. What a great gal, Janet was. What fun we had on the bowling leagues and softball teams "back in the day" with Linda and George, Mike and Rosie, etc.

Dear Joe, Joanne and Jim,
I know that all of you know that Janet was in the room with Mom at St. Joseph's Hospital the night she died on July 6, 2009. What you may not know is that she wept right along with my brother, Craig, Gramps Al and me. And despite all that she was going through medically, she took me in her arms and held me and provided what comfort she could on the saddest day of my life. I will never forget that.
