I'm sorry I was never allowed to be there for you like a big brother should have been. We never should have been separated and every time I think of the fact that my sister lived so close to me and we were basically kept apart for some reason I get so angry. I've thought about you everyday since the last time we spoke and wish I knew what it was that kept us from becoming closer after we finally met, and now it's too late for that. I pray that somehow you know that I'm writing this to you now and apologize that it's taken so long to gather the courage to do so. I hope you are at peace and that your daughter / my niece grows up to be a happy and successful person.

I'm at a complete loss for words. I've been trying to locate Dana for awhile now. I last saw Dana when she was living in Jersey for a short while, and I had my daughter Samantha. Dana and I grew up together, and I have such fond memories of our friendship.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dana was a wonderful person and will be truly missed.

Steve, Alicja and Family,
Words cannot describe loss I feel over Dana. We called each other sisters and best friends.
In had the honour of watching a modern day fairy tale romance emerge between Steve and Dana. It brought me utter joy to see her loved so much and she told me all the time how much she loved Steve.
In her final 5 years of life, it was the happiest I'd ever seen her. She had finally found the love of her life.
She was a devoted Mother who loved Alicja more than life itself. Dana would do anything to see to Alicja's comfort and happiness.
Dana was such a vibrant and loving young Lady with the biggest smile. She loved her family and friends beyond measure.
I will miss her incredible and inspirational friendship, my beloved Donut. Until we meet again.
All my love,
Traci
