Aunt Jane was my next door neighbor for the better part of 7 years in Las Cruces. I have been told I was one of few men she treated equally. Her faith and Irish heritage gave her conviction where others may have been confused or cautious; allowed forgiveness of her sharp temper; and permitted a firm appreciation for her laugh.
