I was so sorry to hear of Emily's passing. For two and a half years I've been her backyard neighbor and always enjoyed seeing her outside caring for her beautiful yard. Living alone as I do, I found comfort in seeing her lights on every night and during the warmer weather, I always enjoyed hearing the sound of her television!! Even though I never formally met her, she was an inspiration to me because she was so active and still lived in her own home. I know the pain of losing a mother because I lost mine 15 months ago at the age of 77. It gets a little easier after a year or so, but the pain remains. God bless you all.

So sad to hear about Aunt Emily -- she was a lovely lady. Like the rest of my siblings I was kept updated by our mother about her and our cousins. I appreciate the effort it must have taken to organize and then share all the photos. It was good to look back through the family's life, especially those pictures that included Uncle John. Thank you so much. Sincerely, MJ Guilcher

My sincere condolences to you all. I kept in touch with Aunt Emily through and for our Mom, and then with Mom's passing, for my own continued connection to the Triggs family. She wrote the best letters! Mom loved to get them, hearing all the news about Aunt Emily and the nieces and nephews. Aunt Emily was not only interested in what we were were all doing but also so proud of her family's accomplishments. Her passing will be such a great loss to your family but how nice to have had such a wonderfully accomplished and loving lady in your lives so as long as you did.

Aunt Babe was a true renaissance woman, long before that term was popular. She was confident, creative and enthusiastic. She had a love of family, friends and country. She stived to stay current in all aspects of life. She had a full life. She made a difference. May she rest in peace.

Dear Barb and the Triggs Family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I remember her as an elegant and kind women who often sang in St. Mary's choir. On occasion I would see her in church when visiting my parents in Baldwinsville and she never seemed to change. So enjoyed looking at the photo album posted on the web site. Hope all is well with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother, she was a part of our lives for over 50 years, a much-loved, life-long friend of my parents. Aunt Emily was one of our favorite people on the planet. She was a role model for all of her nieces as well as a kind, caring and loving aunt. We adored spending time with her and wish that circumstances would have allowed us to spend even MORE time with her....listening to her advice... and the wonderful stories of her experiences in France and how she met the great love of her life, Uncle Jack. In addition to her immediate family, Aunt Emily will be greatly missed by her extended family of nieces and nephews. Au revoir, Aunt Emily, we feel comforted knowing that you will be watching over us. xoxoxo Maggie & Richard Mantia.
