Obituary of Maurice H. Bumpus

Maurice H. “Moe” Bumpus, 77, of Baldwinsville died Monday, October 4, 2010, at his home. He was born in Oswego and lived in B-ville since 1975. He retired from Carrier Corp. TR3 in 1996 after 32 years of service. Bumpy was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of the VFW Post 2320 in Oswego, Cooties-Puptent 30 where he was past district commander and a member of the American Legion Post 113 in B-ville. Survivors: his wife, Georgeanna M. Pearsall Bumpus; his sister, Mary Johnson of Oswego; his brother, Charles (Betty) Bumpus of Minetto; nine nieces and nephews and a foster daughter, Dena Henderson of Richmond, VA. Services: Calling hours are 2-5pm Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville with services following at 5:00pm.
