Baldwinsville has lost a legend. The voice of Baldwinsville sports, Jim was a huge supporter of high school athletics. I remember when WSEN went off a sunset and the basketball games were aired Saturday morning. Jim was the voice of the Memorial Day Parade and so much more. I always loved chances to visit with Jim. To his family, my sincere condolences for your loss.

I will always remember Jim as sound professional and gentleman. I had the pleasure of working with him as a sales representative at WGES/WSGO in Oswego from 1991 to 1993. He provided my first training into the sales profession with always a word of encouragement. Jim was my first personal instructor for sales and teaching me how to develop sound people skills. God's peace and comfort at this time for Marge, Jim, his daughter in law, grandchildren, other family members and friends who will miss this pro....

Dear Lowery Family,
Jim was one of the very first people that approached me when I became organist at St. Mary's in Baldwinsville. He used to work with my uncle "tom" in Oswego. I remember many nights at Canale's Restaurant in Oswego after the high school basketball games. His voice on the radio is unforgettable.
In my eyes, he is a legend. I will miss seeing him at the vigil mass. Now, he can MC the games, while my father (Hoter) referees the games!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during the time.
