Emma "Jeanni" Lamica Cooper, 58, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area most of her life. She was a 1970 graduate of C.W. Baker High School, Baldwinsville and worked for L.P.S. Enterprises of Liverpool after working many years with Blue Cross Blue Shield. “Coop” was known as an outstanding bowler in CNY. She was a bowling coach at the Baldwinsville Sports Bowl for 20 years where she touched the lives of many young people in her community. Bowling was a big part of Jeanni’s life. She was the ultimate good sport and taught her students that the game was all about being good spirited and having a good time. She was a team player until the last ball was thrown. In addition to her enjoyment of Bowling, there was nothing greater than the love and compassion she had for her grandchildren. Survivors: her significant other, Gary Cunningham of Liverpool, two daughters, Amy L. (Jason) Lamica-Gusman of Baldwinsville and Joanna L. (Michael) Carter of Liverpool; three sons, Jeffrey M. (Kelly) Cooper of Baldwinsville, Chris R. Cooper of Liverpool and G. Brett Cunningham of Clay; five grandchildren, Steffani Pouliot, Gabriel Ploski, Cayden Carter, Noah Carter and Ella Dwyer; two step granddaughters, Amanda & Ashley Gusman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services: 10:00am Friday, June 18, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 2-4 & 7-9pm Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street. Contributions: American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., E.
