Betty ''Bette'' Williams Palmer, 76, of Grove Avenue, Auburn, died Wednesday at Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center in Auburn. Born in Clinton, she lived in Baldwinsville 47 years before moving to Auburn. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1942 and Faxton School of Nursing in 1946. She was a registered nurse at Baldwinsville Clinic and a substitute nurse in the Baldwinsville Central School District for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Baldwinsville and Baldwinsville Volunteer Center. She was a Bloodmobile volunteer with the American Red Cross for 35 years. Survivors: Her husband of 55 years, Robert U.; a daughter, Patricia L. Palmer of Auburn; a sister, Barbara Roberts of Selma, N.C.; a brother, Richard L. Williams of Clinton. Services: 3 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church. Spring burial, Deansboro Cemetery. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: First United Methodist Church, Box 167, Baldwinsville 13027.
