Obituary of William J. Typhair

William J. Typhair, 79, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at University Hospital. He was born in Carthage, NY, was a 20-year veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War and was once a commander of the ROTC Drill Team at Syracuse University. He was a Personnel Manager at Syracuse Supply for 21 years and was also a TV repairman for 25 years. William was pre-deceased by his wife of 49 years, Audrey, in 2001, his parents, John and Beryl Typhair, two brothers, Earl and Junior and two sisters, Rose and Cecelia. Survivors: daughters, Nadine (Greg) Grice of VanBuren and Barbara J. (Curt) Brown of Baldwinsville; son, Bill (Laurie) Typhair of Brewerton; sisters, Myrtle Simmons, Phyllis Allen, Mildred (Sonny) Mayer, Debbie (Bruce) Guest and brothers, Stanley (Barb) Typhair, Royal Typhair, Pete Typhair, and Clayton Typhair, all of Watertown; 5 grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services: 12:00pm Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
