Obituary of Shuler E. Jones

Shuler E. Jones, 89, of Liverpool passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 at Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville. He was born in Wilkinsburg, PA and was a longtime resident of Henderson and Liverpool. He spent the last three years in caring and capable hands at Syracuse Home. Shuler was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WW II serving in North Africa, Italy, Burma and China. He was a retired employee of Carrier Corporation after 25 years of service. Shuler was a former member of the Town of Clay Planning Board and a past president of the New York State Planning Commission. He was pre-deceased by his wife Shirley and his brother Lawrence. Survivors: his daughters, Laura A. Jones and Maeda L. Jones both of Florida; his son and daughter-in-law Bruce P. and Deborah Jones of Baldwinsville and two grandsons, Adam and Bryan Jones.
