Sorry to hear of Clare's passing. She was such a kind and gentle lady and a best friend to my mom, Sylvia Foederer, when they both lived at Conifer. I know she loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren so much. I will always smile when I think of her.

As a student nurse and then a graduate, Clare Brady laid the foundation for infection control practices for many of us. She was one of a kind! Enjoy your memories of her!

I remember Clare as the infection Control Nurse when I was a student. I also remember talking to Clare when she would be at Elden for Brent and Ally, but one of my favorite memories was when I was looking out my window and she was in my front yard picking up the autumn leaves. I said,Clare what are you doing? She said she was collecting the leaves to send in the mail to a friend in Florida, so they would know what they were missing. She really gave me a good chuckle and she was a very enjoyable person.

As a young nurse I remember Clare vividly as the infection control nurse at the hospital. The popularity of that particular role hasn't increased but is more crucial than ever. She certainly set a sound foundation and gave a great shot remembering my GG after a hepatitis exposure.

Clare was one in a million. And a Spitfire as a Head Nurse. I recall all the little notes she would leave around the Nurse's Station and Utility Room when I was a student. "do this" and "don't do that" kind of things. Annoying as a student, but she was running a good Unit.
My condolences to the Family.
