To Chuck & family
I did not know your mom, but it has been said that the quality of a person can be measured by the quality of her family. Being that I've known the Chao family for many years, I am given clear evidence to the fact that your mom was a great person. The other messages I've read here offer futher confirmation. Please know that I am thinking of you often.
Love & Peace to all

Your mom was a great lady, I used to play Mahjong on Wed. with the group from B'ville., she was an excellent player. We also had fun on a cruise a few years ago. She will be missed.

To Mary's family: I only met Mary a few times, but she seemed like such a vibrant, fun-loving gal to me. I have family in the Rochester area, who I visit as often as I can, so I would give my cousin, Betty Lombardo, a ride to stay with Mary, and then I would go on to Rochester. I could tell that they had a great time together, and had been friends for a very long time. I know that Betty misses her friend dearly. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Mary and I worked together at the freezer warehouse. We became good friends. I will always remember going to Kelly Lynn after work to work out and relax in the hot tub. Especially the time we locked the car keys in the trunk and had to be rescued by one of Mary's children.
She was a wonderful lady, a lot of fun and totally devoted to her family.
My prayers are with you all.

To the Chao Family,
I worked with Mary for many years and we remained good friends after our "freezer" days.
Mary was such fun and she spread a lot of cheer. We went to lectures and plays together. I remember the time Mary, her friend Marge, and I went to see the NYC Opera production of Carmen in Utica. Of course it was a trip on the Thruway in terrible winter weather, but we had such fun.
And then there was the baklava. No explanation needed!
I'll never forget Mary's love for her family, her gentle ways, and never a bad thing to say about anyone.
I'll meet you in the sweet bye and bye, Mary.

We all will miss you very much. The drives up to camp taking the curves at 90 and being on cop patrol. The crazy drives on our birthdays. The humming to any kind of music you put on the radio. There are so many good times that we have had with her. Sad that we cant be there to say our goodbyes but you will forever be in our hearts. We love you grandman

I will miss my grandma very much. I will miss her trying to make me play all her crazy card games and mahjongg and her constant cheating and making up rules because I didn't know how to play. hahahaha. At least thats what I thought hahaha. I had so many good memories with my grandma. Like when she would take me to Onondaga Parkway to walk and she end up sprinting and I would just sit down on a bench and give up. The tree decorating party we had every year as kids and the sleep overs. I have great memories of my grandma and I will miss her dearly and so upset I can't make it home to say goodbye.
To the world you are one person but to one person you are the world.
Love you!

I wanted to take a minute to extend my sympathy for your loss. May you find comfort in the Bible's promise at Revelation 21:4 where God promises to wipe away all sorrow and pain and most of all our greatest enemy -death.

My heart and deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. She was loved by many. I feel especially sad for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren losing their "Nena". I loved when people told me how much I looked like Mary, more so than her own daughters! Sorry,I am unable to be there for the funeral. Stacey turns 30 this saturday and I will be babysitting Lucely (3)Stacey's daughter and Anna Marguerite (10 mos) Darcie's baby. My sympathy and Love to all.

She loved you all so very much. To all who may not remember....Mary and my friendship was long standing. We met in 7th grade Coolidge Junior High School., Natick, MA
As adults we traveled many places in the world together. . laughing all the way. I will miss her advice and her counsel and especially her sense of humor and smile.
