Grammy,
I miss you so much. I miss playing Can't Stop with you while sitting on the porch sipping tea enjoying the outdoors. Now, two and a half years later I still cry when I think about our memories together. I'm so glad I was able to share in life with you, I learned to love the little things. I can't wait to see you and David one day.
Love,
Tanya

To the Lennon Family, I sit here recalling all the years that your mom, Sandy, Nancy Greeley and I bowled together, all the fun, laughs and your mom keeping score, giving us all horse-balls when we didn't make our spare. She even tried to teachme XC skiing, which I never caught on (it was too much work).
Phyllis rest in peace, look for Kelly and give her a hug from me. Till we all meet again.

Phyllis was the perfect embodiment of the notion that quite
ordinary people could lead extraordinary lives. Whatever role she played -- daughter, sister, friend, teacher, spouse,
mom, grandmother -- she did so in a framework of good
humor, bedrock values, and high energy. She comforted our
Mom and Dad at their moments of dying, and she met the end of her own life with grace and dignity. Her friendships were boundless, her family loved her unconditionally, and
she brightened our lives (not a great cribbage player, however!). Our memories endure; we all loved her.

To my brother Charlie and all the kids
Phyllis was my hero. She endured much, but never tried to show her suffering. She regaled in her family always. I miss not being able to pick up the phone and call her at any time. Or her calling me and leaving messages for "Susie Q". I could write stories for hours of all the good times we have shared. Most of you already know them. Phyllis and I have had tears down the face laughing with some of the events we shared. I will miss her laugh, her smirky smiles, her wit, her listening, her sharing...I cannot imagine my life without her. Rest in peace Phyllis. I love you as my sister. Please save a place for me at your table when we meet again.
Love and prayers to our family.

To the Lennon Family,
Our deepest sympathies to you family for your loss. Phyllis was a wonderful person and mother. In the few times that we met and spoke with her, you could clearly see that she was a great person, very much loved and surrounded by a loving husband and children. We just wish we had come to Syracuse sooner and spent a little bit more time with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

I didn't know Phyllis very long but enough to see she was a warm, intelligent, engaging and kind person. My moments with her were few but evoke fond memories. I can also see her in Bill's (married to my cousin Sandy) levelheadedness, diligence and good nature. To her family and friends: I cannot imagine the depth of your loss and grief, but you have my deepest sympathies, especially Chuck, Bill & Sandy.

Phyllis and I were childhood friends in Bedford Hills, NY. We each knew each others families, and felt part of them.
We celebrated our 50th high School reunion this summer, sadly without Phyllis present. We had all hoped she would have the strength to join us one last time. Eight of us kept in constant touch through e-mail and prayer, praying for the miracle that never came.
We feel better that she was able to make the wedding. We send our sympathy and love to the entire family.
Much love to all,
Tommy

Dearest Phyllis...You were never a sister-in-law to me, you were always my true sister. I will always remember the trips we took together. You were the Thelma to my Louise. And the many laughs we shared will never be forgotten. Although you travel this road alone, know that we will all travel it sooner or later, and when it's my turn, I will be looking for you. I will miss you terribly but truly thank God that you were in my life. My love and condolences to Chuck, Jody, Bill, Lori and Sarah.

How hard it is to lose such a wonderful friend! What fun we had during Phyillis's visits to Fort Myers - kayaking, dining out, road trips - and delighting in chirpping at Roy from the backseat! Good times that will be with us forever as cherished memories.
We're all better for having had Phyillis in our lives - her love of family, sense of humor, and her courage and determination are what made her a great lady. What a privilege to have known her.
My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family at this difficult time.

Mom,
You will always be an inspiration to us. At 68 years of age and very sick, you still knew the importance of being active and seeing all your grandchildren(examples:XC Skiing everyday and sledding with your grandchildren). We have many, many memories of the good times, and you were at the center of them. Thank you so much for being an involved mother and spending all your time with us. We are proud of you for everything you have done.
We love you very much and will miss you,
The Lennon Family
