Roland E. Collar, 82, of Phoenix, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Cato and has lived in the Phoenix area since 1960. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was also a Teamster Union Truck Driver for over 40 years. Roland was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.
Survivors: his wife, the former Janice M. Moore; two sons, Scott (Sally) Collar of Redfield and Brad Collar of Pennellville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00am Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Union Hill Cemetery, Cato. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
