I just learned of Andy's passing. I worked for Andy from 1981 to 1984 at P&C Food Markets. What a great boss/person! Kind and respectful to all and a good friend. Even after my husband and I moved to Florida, he would occasionally keep in touch just to see how we were doing. He is in my prayers. My condolences to Andy Jr. and the whole family.

Sharon and family, I was very saddened to hear that Andy had passed away. I always enjoyed seeing him once a week when I did the lawn and enjoyed a little chat with him. It was easy to feel Andy was a friend and not just another person who hired me. He told me over the last year or so that he was sick. But even though some weeks I saw that he was tired and having a bad day, he never complained or had negative things to say about it. He was very optomistic and positive. He invited me out to the camp a couple different times over the past few years. I wish I had the chance to take him up on it. He was very comlimentary to me and told me how much he and Sharon appreciated my services. I wish I had the chance to see him again and say goodbye. However, I am glad that the last time I saw Andy he was talking with me and we shared a laugh about the wacky weather we were having. This is how I will remember him. With a big & friendly smile on his face. It's hard to believe I won't see him come out on the back deck to say hello. I will miss him. What a great guy!

Mrs. Sitar, Charmaine, Drew, Wayne & Kim:
My deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of your husband/Dad on behalf of myself and my siblings [Charlie, Arthur & Noelle].
Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent during summer vacation visits with your family in New Jersey and Long Island.
When my parents visit [Chris & Arthur], we often reminisce about those visits.
Mom & Dad were deeply saddened to learn of your Dad's passing and disappointed that they couldn't travel to New York for the services.
Our thoughts are with all of you.

I met Andy when he came to work at P&C, it did not take very long before he became more than someone to work with but also a TRUE FRIEND that not only carried thru during the working years but also into my retirement that we corresponded on a regular basis because we were genuinely concerned about each others lives. I will always remember Andy as a GOOD MAN who always found the time to acknowledge me with genuine sincerity. I will miss him !

Dear Charmaigne, "Drew", Wayne and Kim: I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Andy. He was a wonderful man and great brother to my mom. I always enjoyed our trips out to visit when we were young. And seeing him at Kymies wedding.... he was exactly the same as I remembered. I wish I could be there to offer my sympathy in person. I miss you and am thinking of you all!
