Eva G. (Johnson) D'Imperio, 93, of Hastings, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born in Rome, NY and resided most of her life in Baldwinsville, NY, prior to moving to Hastings two years ago. Eva was formerly the owner/operator of The Sports Bowl, in Baldwinsville, along with her late husband Nicholas. Eva was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Nicholas A. D'Imperio, in 1968 and son, Nicholas in 1950.
Eva Gerry is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Constance and Richard Doback of Ridge Manor, FL, son James D'Imperio of Moravia, NY, daughter and son-in-law Mary and Leonard Wells of Henderson, NV, 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association Of CNY, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204 or the Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 744 Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
