Milton G. Bilyeu, 81, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville. He was a native and life resident of Baldwinsville. Milt, a 1945 graduate of Baldwinsville Academy, was a Navy veteran of WW II and the Korean War. Milt was the owner of Bilyeu’s Color Center in Baldwinsville. He was Supervisor of the Town of Lysander for thirteen years and a member and chairman of the Lysander Planning Board. He was one of the founders of the Baldwinsville Oktoberfest. Upon his retirement as supervisor, Milt was employed with Tri State Auto Auctions. He was a leader with Boy Scouts of America, enjoyed traveling with his family and was an avid golfer and bowler. Milt was predeceased by his sisters, June Jackson and Helen Griffin and grandson Ryan G. Bilyeu. Survivors: his wife of 60 years, the former Irma Lindsay; his daughters and their spouses, Gail (Bob) Burns of Baldwinsville and Andrea (Ed) Miller of Cicero; his sons, Robert Bilyeu and Gregg (Deb Taylor) Bilyeu of Baldwinsville; two granddaughters, Heather McKeigue and Lindsay Miller; a great-grandaughter, Molly McKeigue; a sister, Doris Warner of Oswego; a brother, Frederick E. Bilyeu of Brewerton; several nieces and nephews. Services: 11:00am Saturday, August 15, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Baldwinsville. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street. Baldwinsville.
