I first met Maggie my sophomore year at UB. We shared many communication classes together and a few similar groups of friends. Maggie was someone who was very welcoming and easy to talk to. She knew what she wanted in life and was more mature than me in many aspects of life. For that, I knew that she was a person that I wanted to have in my life. We hit it off and soon she became my go-to person to gossip about guys, take car rides singing along to L.O.V.E by Ashlee Simpson, shop till we dropped (we had a shopping problem), grab a white hot chocolate @ Starbucks to just sit, talk, laugh for hours about anything and everything, and head out for nights on the town, come back, grab snacks from the vending and fall asleep to Elf. I treasured those times, and I will never forget them. Even tho we didn't get to spend as much time together after that, whenever we did get together it was as if nothing had changed. You will truly be missed. I know that you are watching down on all of us from a wonderful place. (you always were the person to be there for others). My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I miss you L.O.V.E...and I will.. ALWAYS.
-L.O.V.E you forever,
Lizaiha

Dear Ms. Sheldon and family,
I first met Maggie last August when we both began our graduate studies in Higher Education Administration at UB. I didn't know anyone in the program and Maggie was the first person that I really clicked with. I took 5 classes with her this past year and I will cherish every moment spent with her, including our frequent visits to get sushi at Wasabi. She was such a hard worker, yet knew how to make everyone smile and have fun at the same time. School will not be the same this fall; I will never forget her and the wonderful times we shared.

Dear Mrs. Sheldon,
Maggie and I were very close during the summer of 2006--my first real summer in WNY. We were together almost every day, enjoying the beach, nightlife and working together. We ate a lot of pizza that summer and had a bunch of sleepovers.
I was and still am deeply saddened when I heard about Maggie's death. I will continue to pray for her and your family.

Dear Kim, Chelsea, Mister and family,
I know that it was only a short year and 3 months ago that I moved into 64 Pheasant Run and met my new roommate, Maggie. However within that year Maggie has been closer of a friend to me than people I have known all my life. There are a million things I could say about Maggie so choosing my words is very hard. She was an absolutely amazing person who touched the lives of everyone she met. When I think of Maggie I think of boat rides in search of lost treasure, finding hidden secrets like waterfalls and zebras, doing handstands at the Hamptons and riding horses through the Red Rock mountains in Vegas. I have so many memories with Maggie I could share but the one thing they have in common is they were all happy memories full of fun, excitement and adventure because that is how Maggie lived her life. She will be missed more than she could ever imagine for she was truly one of a kind.

Kim, Chelsea, and Mister,
Maggie is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met, let alone been friends with. We had a very special connection from the moment we met. We always joked about how we were destined to be best friends, but now I know that we honestly were. She was such a positive person, who gave everything she was to every relationship that she had. Maggie opened her heart to every experience that life had to offer, even if it was difficult. I always admired her inner strength and marveled at her compassionate spirit. She loved with all of her heart, regardless of whether the object of her affection was a person, place, or thing. (Sometimes I think she loved freeze pops and Dexter almost as much as she loved me and Sam!) I aspire to have such an open and giving heart. I hope that someday I will be able to love something as much as she loved everything. Maggie was only in my life for a relatively short period of time, but the impact she had on me was tremendous. She has touched my life in so many ways and I miss her with every breath that I take. If this is how I feel, I cannot imagine the pain that you must be feeling right now. I am truly sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Maggie. We've known each other for a long time and have done a lot together. We always laugh at each others jokes and have the same personality! That is no coincidence. I wish I could make it back to Baldwinsville for you. Remember for about 2 years in High School my mom would pack you and the girls into the minivan and drive you all home? Great times. I will see you later. Best Wishes.
