I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Ada's passing. I remember well visiting the farm on Prine Road that my parents eventually bought. I fondly remember Aunt Ada & Uncle Hugh trying to bribe me with a quarter if I jumped off the diving board into the pond. I didn't jump, but I got the quarter anyway! My sincere condolences to all of my cousins.

Dear Cousins, I was so sad to learn of Aunt Ada's passing. Mom and Dad were also saddened to hear the news. At the same time, we couldn't help but smile when we thought of all the fun we had visiting "the farm". I have wonderful memories of my larger than life uncle, his tiny wife and my favorite cousins. God bless you all.

I am sadden to hear of Aunt Ada's death. Condolences to the rest of the family. I recently have suffered a head concusion and was not well enough to attend any services. You may have heard also, that Jack, her brother-in-law, (My dad), Hugh's brother, passed away in Florida this past week, July 9th. I hope this outreach connects some of the remaining "gillespie's". we remain connected...love to all, Anne

I have alot of great memories of Aunt Ada and Uncle Hugh...As a youngster I would love to go to their house and walk around and explore the big yard and catch frogs in the pond.

My fondest memories of Grandma are of living next door when I was little and walking across the driveway sitting on her lap in front of the big picture window while she made ringlets in my hair; then later on- visits up north to the Tug Hill Plateau, where I now have a camp; and sitting at the mall with Grandma and Grandpa drinking coffee at the mall when they moved back to B'ville.
