What can I say? Donna was a lovely, warm, giving, kind woman and I am so grateful that she would babysit my daughter, and how she would do anything for anyone, with no questions asked. That is just how Donna was. She was such a joy to be around because she had such a sense of humor! Although we lost touch through the years, I have never forgotten her and had often thought about her. I am so so so very sorry for your loss and I wanted you to know that our family thought so much of Donna and will never ever forget her. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Trish, Drew, and family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Over the last few weeks I feel like we have come to know "Aunt Donna" and her very strong presence in your lives, as well as getting to know even more what a wonderful, close family you have. I AM WRITING ON BEHALF OF MY MOTHER DIANE KIRKPATRICK, SHE IS IN THE HOSPITAL AND UNABLE TO SEND HER SYMPATHIES HERSELF. SHE WAS VERY FOND OF DONNA AND OFTEN TOLD ME SHE DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT HER DURING HER RECOVERY FROM AN AUTO ACCIDENT. SHE WAS A VERY LOVING AND CARING PERSON AND WOULD HELP ANYONE IN ANY WAY SHE COULD.

I WAS VERY SADDEND TO READ OF DONNA'S PASSING. I KNEW SHE HAD HAD SURGERY, AND I HAD HOPED SHE WOULD BE IMPROVING. SHE WAS A VERY KIND HEARTED PERSON, SHE TOOK GREAT CARE OF MY MOTHER IN-LAW JANE HENNESEY. DONNA ALWAYS REMEMBERED ALL OF OUR BIRTHDAYS, AND ALL HOLIDAYS WITH A CARD. SHE WAS SO THOUGHTFUL. EACH YEAR WE TRIED TO FIND SOME LITTLE THING TO LET HER KNOW OUR APPRECIATION AT CHRISTMAS TIME. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL. THE HENNESSEY FAMILY
JANE, ART, LARRY, CINDY, AND THEIR SPOUSES.
GOD BLESS ALL, DIANA

My memories of Donna go back at least 45 years. She and her family were good friends of my grandparents. She was always so thoughtful. She was always willing to help. As I got older, my contact was less, but I continued to hear about her and her family from my parents. Donna will always be a part of my childhood memories in NY.
