Obituary of Constance S. Ebner

Constance S. Elbrecht Ebner, 58, of Baldwinsville departed for her higher calling on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, lovingly surrounded by her family and friends. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and a friend to all. The sum of her accomplishments can be found in the love her family and friends had for her. She was a 1972 graduate of SUNY Albany with a major in mathematics and a minor in physics. She was employed for over 15 years with the Baldwinsville Public Library. She was a member of the Thumbstall Quilt Guild and belonged to a local quilting bee, lovingly known as the S&B. Connie was also involved for more than 20 years with the Baldwinsville Colonial Festival where she taught fourth graders the basics of quilting. She tutored math to many area children from the basics to calculus. Survivors: her husband of 36 years, Charles E. Ebner of Baldwinsville; a daughter, Victoria Ebner of Baldwinsville and a son, Chad Ebner of Syracuse; 3 sisters, Roxann (Richard) Vass of San Marcos, CA., Cathleen Johnson of Liverpool and Christine (Anthony) Rossillo of Baldwinsville and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She touched many lives and will be missed by all. Services: 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2009, at Falardeau Funeral Home and 10:00am in St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
