It only took a moment after my arrival at Canton Woods to realize what a special and wonderful man Don was. I will dearly miss our weekly chats as he came to pick up his copy of the Messenger at the center. He held his hand firmly on the pulse of his community and the people in it, and had such wisdom and insight that he shared with me eagerly.
I will be forever grateful for his undying support of the Seniors of Baldwinsville, for his boundless energy and his deep caring for his fellow man. I take some comfort in knowing that Don is in a better place...and that place just got a little better...I am sure he will contribute as much in Heaven as he did here on Earth.
