To the Scudder Family,
I was Bob's secretary for a couple of years in the mid-1960's at the telephone company. He was such a wonderful boss and manager, during the time of my engagement and marriage, then maternity leave. I remember his visit when my daughter was an infant and my decision to be a stay-at-home mom. He was quiet, gracious, happy and so understanding - a gentle man who I remembered all these years. When I saw Lois & Bob's 50th wedding anniversary in the paper, I sent a card, to be in touch and offer congratulations since we had lost touch.
My sincerest condolences in your loss. I'm sure he will be remembered and cherished by all of you.
