Leonard C. Hawthorne, 48, of Mills Road, Baldwinsville, died Wednesday after being found unconscious in his vehicle on Route 690 in Geddes. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Baldwinsville most of his life. He graduated from C.W. Baker High School in 1971 and SUNY Canton in 1973. He was an automobile mechanic for C&H Automotive in Syracuse and had worked with Goodyear Auto Service Center in Syracuse. Survivors: Three daughters, Barbara J. Allen of Baldwinsville, Tina M. Hawthorne of Toledo, Ohio, and Carrie L. Hawthorne of Syracuse; his mother, Eileen M. Hawthorne Archambeau of Baldwinsville; four sisters, Barbara A. Russett, Diane L. Colon and Marlene M. Greenwood, all of Baldwinsville, and Mary A. O'Brien of Syracuse; a brother, Richard J. of Baldwinsville; four grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Falardeau Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial, Kingdom Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
