Westley W. Ayers, 49, of Liverpool passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at VanDuyn Home & Hospital. He was born in Binghamton and has lived in the Syracuse/Elbridge area since 1963. He was a 1977 graduate of Jordan Elbridge High School and worked as a Senior Care Specialist for many years, mainly at Green Point and Loretto nursing homes in Liverpool. He was pre-deceased by his father Chester M. Ayers in 1990 and Kenneth Tambs in 2003.
Survivors: his mother, Joyce J. Ayers of Walworth, NY; three sisters, Jane Ayers-Clark of Walworth, NY, Melinda Smart of Elbridge and Sarah Spence of St. Roberts, MO; a brother, Bradley Ayers of Liverpool; his special companion, Walter Stein of Syracuse; one niece and five nephews.
Services: 2:00pm Friday, January 9, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 12pm 2pm at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
