Westley W. Ayers, 49, of Liverpool passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at VanDuyn Home & Hospital. He was born in Binghamton and has lived in the Syracuse/Elbridge area since 1963. He was a 1977 graduate of Jordan Elbridge High School and worked as a Senior Care Specialist for many years, mainly at Green Point and Loretto nursing homes in Liverpool. He was pre-deceased by his father Chester M. Ayers in 1990 and Kenneth Tambs in 2003. Survivors: his mother, Joyce J. Ayers of Walworth, NY; three sisters, Jane Ayers-Clark of Walworth, NY, Melinda Smart of Elbridge and Sarah Spence of St. Roberts, MO; a brother, Bradley Ayers of Liverpool; his special companion, Walter Stein of Syracuse; one niece and five nephews. Services: 2:00pm Friday, January 9, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are 12pm – 2pm at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
