Obituary of William Holbrook

William Holbrook, 82, of Phoenix AZ, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY, died at home on February 24, 2009 after a brief battle with Lung Cancer. He retired from GE after 39 years of service. He is a veteran of the US Army, served in WWII and the Mediterranean Theater where he earned the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal. He is a Senior Member of the Warners Volunteer Fire Dept and a member of the Onondaga County Volunteer Fire Police Assoc.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Leader, Maryann Crane, Patricia Polmanteer, Carol Bleskoski, Linda Green, Katherine, Becka, and Victoria, his sons William, Michael, Jeffrey, and Scott, also numerous Grand and Great Grand Children.
William will be buried with his loving wife Beverly and his sons Ray John and Ray William. A graveside service is planned for family and friends at 10AM on June 6, 2009 at Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville. Gathering to follow at Baldwinsville Fire Station #1 on Crego Rd.
