When we moved to Baldwinsville some 20+ years ago, little did we know that we were going to have the BEST neighbor ever! As I struggled through school and working a full time job, Betty was always there with fresh baked cookies and the biggest heart to sit a listen to ALL my research papers, etc. and offering advise. My success is because of her.
In addition, she loved our dog "Zeke". It was a big, white, Great Pyreneese and the times I thought he broke his lead, I think it was Betty that unhooked him and I would franticly search for him until I went to Betty's to inquire about him and find him curled up by her favorite chair.
In the Spring, I would take her out on our annual trek to lunch to celebrate her birthday, but the day never ended about her, but always about how John & I were doing.
Our hearts were broken when we heard of her passing. She will be forever in our hearts and we offer our sincerest sympathy to her family.
