To Al, Scott, Jeff Erik & AJ
I last spoke to Dot at Erik's Graduation party, and although time had passed since our last visit, she was still the gracious and sweet lady I had the pleasure of knowing. I know our grandchildren will never forget what a special person she was. She will be so missed.

Dear Al, Scott, Jeff, Erik & A.J.,
I was very saddened at the news of Dot's passing. I remember how sweet and kind she was at Erik's graduation party, and she greeted me warmly as she recalled that Erik & A.J. used to call me "Aunt Lulu" when they were little. It had been many years since I had seen Dot, and she was still as gracious as always. I will remember Dot as a beautiful, classy lady. My heart goes out to all of you at this time and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Laura Simpson

Dear Al and Family, We only knew Dot for a very short time but it was obvious early on what a special lady she was. She was always a lady in every sense of the word.Gentle and soft spoken but very organized. She did so much for the residents of Golden Legacy organizing so many fun activities for us to enjoy. There will be a very big void here for a long time to come. We are going to miss seeing Dot every day.As much as we will miss her it was and honor to have known here for the short time that we did.

To Al and family: My sincere sympathies to all of you on Dorothy's passing. I still fondly remember all of the IACCA annual conferences when Dot was there to handle so many of the behind-the-scenes details. Her smile and cheerful presence brightened every room. It was always a pleasure to spend time talking with her. Mostly I remember her gentle nature and her subtle sense of humor. Que Dios les bendiga y les fortalezca en estos momentos.

Dear Al, Scott, and Jeff,
Ed says that Dot was the sister he never had and remembers family get-togethers from childhood. Our visits with all of you since our marriage in 1979 have always been such a joy in our lives and we have loved having Al and Dot visit in our mountain home in California and our home in Minden and in Long Beach, California before that. We even remember when Scott and Jeff were hijacked by the airlines and arrived late in Californai.
It was special in 2004 when Dot and Al joined us for our 25th wedding celebration in Minden and we were able to celebrate Dot's birthday when you arrived. We realized later what a sacrifice you had made to be with us as your train trip was not as comfortable as we had imagined.
Dot has always been a special inspiration to both of us; she was so steadfast in all that she did and so giving to everyone whether family or not. We look forward to visiting with Al and Scott and Jeff in the future but Dorothy will always be missed no matter how long any of us lives. Our prayers are with all of you. We are fortunate to be able to be with you at this time. Love, Ed and Sally
