Dear Mrs. Rutherford & Courtney,
I am so sorry to hear of Keith's passing. Although it's been many years my memories of you all are as fresh as if we had just been together yesterday on Edgewood Dr. How I treasure those days. I remember sitting in the basement with him talking & watching the fish in the fish tanks.
My heart is breaking for you all. I wish I could be there to hug you and let you know how much you are loved and missed.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Keith. I worked with Keith at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse for many years. In February 2007, Keith and I quit smoking and supported each other through the toughest times. My memories of Keith will last forever. He was a very sincere, caring, great sense of humor and a true friend. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have had the honor to have Keith as one of my closest friends over the past few years. I will always have the fondest of memories of this truly gentle man. Keith and I along with my son Tanner went to most SU games, and we always had such a great time. I will never forget the first game that I went to with Keith. He needed to use the rest room at the Dome, (anyone who has ever been in there knows how interesting of an experience it is). Keith goes up to take care of business so to speak. While he is standing at the "urinal" with his cane in his hand, he turns to the man standing next to him and asks; "Is it raining in here? My shoes are getting wet!". The expression on the guy's face was priceless!!! That simple ability to have fun is how I want to remember Keith. A GREAT sense of humor, a GREAT friend. I will truly miss him.

Ms. Rutherford and Courtney, I am so sorry to hear of Keith's passing. Numerous friends contacted me knowing the great friendship Keith and I shared in the past. I am so glad I had the opportunity not only to be a friend of his in school but, to be able to work with him in the B'ville area restaurants years ago. I am sure his daughters already know he was a great cook, but he was also a good dancer when we all went out clubing back in the 80's and was also preoccupied with how his hair always looked. It was great to know that still was the case when I was with him for the last time at our high school reunuion, when he asked me how his hair was. He will be greatly missed. Sincerely Julie

Mrs. Rutherford, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It was only 3 weeks ago you married my husband and I. We remember you had to hurry back home for an appointment for your son, instead they ended up showing early that day. Between my husband and I we have 5 children, and our biggest fear is them going before us. Neither of us could imagine what your going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You have lost a wonderful son, brother and dad and we have lost a dear and good friend. Whenever we think of Keith we'll remember his quick sense of humor and his contagious laugh. Mrs. Rutherford, Courtney and family. I'm not sure what to say; you're family has been tested more than most could ever imagine, yet you continue to show grace and demonstrate faith where most would just wither. I guess we will all have answers to this someday; until then, I wish you continued strength, support and healing. In sympathy, Mark Turcotte.
