Richard L. Coon, 75, of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Manlius and has lived in the Syracuse area all of his life. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was a past member of the Baldwinsville Moose Lodge #644. He retired in 1993 after 33 years at Niagara Mohawk.
Survivors: his wife of 49 years, the former Bonnie V. Petersen; a daughter, Robin L. (Chris) Esposito of Solvay; a son, Lorne M. (Teri) of Baldwinsville; 2 granddaughters, Grace and Madeline Coon; a sister, Grace E. Mapstone of Waynesboro, VA; a brother, Harrison N. (Kathryn) Coon of Vero Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services: 10:00am, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
