Audrey J. Lutz, formerly of Crete Avenue, went quietly to join her Lord in heaven on March 22, 2022.

After a 20-year career at Bendix Corporation of Elmira, Audrey retired and began a new career at BOCES of Chemung County with her brother William. As a Teacher Assistant, she worked in classrooms focusing on children with special needs. It was there that she found her calling and lifetime satisfaction. Her students remained in her life until the end.

After retiring from BOCES, Audrey became a dedicated driver and volunteers for Meals On Wheels, as well as with the Salvation Army and the Sisters of St. Joseph's.

Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Robert Lutz; brothers, Raymond Jr., Ralph, and William Stamp; beloved friend and sister-in-law Theresa Morgan Stamp, and lives on through her friend and sister-in-law Carroll Rogers Stamp. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews as well.

Audrey was a long-time communicant of North Presbyterian Church in Elmira, and was very dedicated to Vacation Bible School each summer where she continued to reach more children in her community.

Audrey's Celebration of Life will be held 10:00am Saturday, July 23, at North Presbyterian Church, 921 College Ave., Elmira, NY.
